The only thing I found unnecessary was the long screws to hold the lightweight brackets and the fabric. I used much shorter screws for the thin RV walls. However, the screws for the side tracks weren't that much long, and the tracks cut to size. I screwed each one in by hand, and the fit and look is super amazing.
